You know those moments when you look through the branches of a leaf-heavy tree and see the sunlight peeking through? Where every leaf appears to be a different shade of green and the light seems to dance and sparkle? That is "el resol." It is what happens when light transforms what we see and experience.
According to Psalms 34:5, when we seek God’s face, we not only reflect God’s Light, but we ourselves become radiant. And in the gospel of John, Jesus is called the Light, God’s radiance embodied.
This month, contemplate what it means to seek God's face, to be imbued with radiance in the way Jesus was. Take note of how the Light transforms your experiences but also what your radiance brings to others.
